The owner, Timm, has been mechanically inclined since the very young age of 12 where he started out working in a wrecking yard. Then as a mechanic in the Army and at a variety of auto repair shops before opening his own business. He has over 30 years of smog check experience. A high level of customer service is an expectation for us here, we pride ourselves on the service we provide for our customers and the experience they have while they are here.

I’ve gone here twice now for two different cars, and each time has been a pleasure. They are very kind both on the phone (where I had a couple questions) and in person. The process is so fast and efficient that you’re there for typically no more than 15 minutes, and they make me feel right at home in that short window. I’ve been lucky enough to pass my Smog tests, but I’ve read reviews that they will be incredibly helpful/informational when the time comes that it doesn’t. I started going to Smog Connection, probably over 7 yrs ago. The owner Tim is a super nice and honest guy. Only 1 time as I recall, I was dragging my feet getting car smog done..Tim didn't have any appointment available. I started looking, knowing I was cutting it close. I went to another place..(won't give name). The happy smile, not there..but I paid way more. No way will that happen again. Smog Connection is the best.
